Occupational Therapy

Amy Brodeur, MS, OTR/L

Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) are highly trained professionals who have experience in evaluating and treating students with a variety of needs within the special education team.  Within the Carlisle Public Schools, the Occupational therapists work to identify and treat fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and difficulties that interfere with a student's ability to participate in desired daily school activities or “occupations” in the school environment. Occupational Therapy services may be provided in the classroom setting or in the Occupational therapy room. In addition, services may be provided through consultation.  Occupational therapy services for students with special needs are determined through the IEP process.
