English Language Learners (ELL)

Our English Language Learner (ELL) teachers are experienced educators who specialize in supporting multilingual students as they develop their English language skills. Within Carlisle Public Schools, the ELL program helps students build proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing so they can fully participate in the classroom and school community. Services may be provided within the general education classroom, in small group settings, or through individualized support. In addition, ELL teachers collaborate with classroom teachers and families to ensure that students’ cultural and linguistic strengths are recognized and celebrated.
