Challenge DayPosted by Brad Cranston at 10/11/2017
Challenge Day will be held Monday, November 6th. Please have your child bring in his/her permission forms ASAP.
Challenge Day is a powerful, high-energy program in which youth and adult participants will be guided by professional facilitators through a series of experiential learning processes. Through a variety of games, trust-building activities, and presentations, students will be given a unique opportunity to see themselves and the people around them through a new set of eyes.
The overall goals of the program are to increase personal power and self-esteem, to shift peer pressure to positive peer support, and to eliminate the acceptability of teasing, acts of meanness, and all forms of bullying. Challenge Day programs are designed to unite the members of the school and community to empower them to carry the themes of the program back to the greater school community.
